I don't usually post Australian coins in this topic, but I thought I'd make an exception today as this is a key date!  This coin looks much nicer in hand than in the photos - it has a rich dark brown chocolate tone and the porous effect on the obverse and 'cleaned' appearance on the reverse aren't at all evident. I had to shine a desk lamp directly at it and then play with the colour to get the details to show on the photo!  This penny cost me the princely sum of 3p from a dealer's junk tray in London in the early 1980s. I bought it with several other George V OZ pennies, and didn't realise it was a key date until much later! ... and a French Chamber of Commerce 2F:  Edited by NumisRob
