I bought myself a new camera for my bday and have been snapping random pictures with it. I dumped a tube of BU wheats and there is just something about seeing a pile of red copper.

Amazing to think it's been almost 60 years since wheaties were struck. When I was a kid in the 1970's they were so plentiful in circulation nobody gave them a second thought. Now a roll of BU wheaties looks like gold!

Great pic, and a reminder of how common these late wheat rolls in BU are even today!

That is definitely an easy BU roll to find coinfrog. I have dozens of '58 rolls so dumping them isn't an issue. I wouldn't dump some of my early 30's rolls though as they are a bit harder to track down.

That certainly is the most beautiful pile of copper I've seen in a while!

I picked up a cannon eos rebel t5i and a few lenses. Not the best in the world, but night and day compared to using a cell phone camera. Still have a lot of "playing" with it to figure out what it can actually do.

Well, two piles would certainly be better.

I could do that, but it's a pain rolling them all again. Here are a few still in the tube if you want more.
