I didn't like the scratches on the obverse. Seller has a better one dated 1837 for $1,800. I would skip this one and buy the 1837. That one is much nicer.

It appears to be a Browning 1, Rarity 1. With the scratches I'd say low AU. Around $700.

Only a couple of fused lines and high point rub that I can see, so technically I'd say a 58. Cleaning, most probable. Obverse scratches - long and annoying. Although this is still nicer than the vast majority of this date.

AU-58 real nice strike. Yeah those obverse scratches...not a fan.

AU-58, old cleaning and retoned. Scratches are unfortunate, but they may not be very noticeable in hand.

AU details, and there's no way the scratches in front of the face, the two huge scratches right above the cap and the deep scratch across the bust don't details this coin. The reverse also has a patch of what appears to be roughness or corrosion directly above the eagle's head and scratches below the neck; the upper reverse looks like it may have had some burnishing/tooling for spot removal...just not feeling this one.

Thanks, seller wanted $1200 and advertises as mint state. I thought AU too but the scratches is a good point. Thank you all again!
