PMD = Post Mint Damage - In other words the coin was damage after it left the mint.

Rpuckett you can click on the PMD link.
In short not a mint error, but damage that happened after the coin left the mint.
Judging by the overall condition of your coin, it would seem that is damage.

The coin took a hit there. You can see that there is a bulge in the same spot on the reverse.

Too bad it is PSD. It may have had an incomplete planchet on the coin as well. (Reverse at 8:00)
