I'll never understand the attraction for the '36 bars.
I'm not a collector of 10cents so I don't own one of these.
However I do have a few '36 bar quarters and a '36 dot/bar.
I also have about ten bar quarters of other years including two Vickies.
It's just a die crack.
Why are the '36s worth such a premium while the others attract no attention or premium whatsoever?
It's not a matter of supply and demand, what drives this phenomenon?
Are collectors sheeple, willing to jump at anything trendy and then try to sustain the delusion so that they can recoup their investment?
