They have value because they are 90% silver. Beyond that, a high grade could make them worth much much more than silver value.

 Maria. Always nice to pick up 90% silver coins!  At current silver price they have $6.10 each in silver value and would sell for a slight premium in circulated condition.

Welcome, As others have noted, they have silver value, and should always be worth at least 50 cent

I found them while was going through boxes I had stored..I had forgotten I even had them .
