muddler Pillar of the Community United States 7193 Posts	Posted 01/19/2017 1:12 pm Back in 1995 I was returning to coin collecting and the Civil war half and dollar were some of my first mint purchases during this resurgence. Last year I finished the set with the $5 gold. As a rule I don't collect clad coins but this one has a striking design. So sad the mint does not mint the 1/2 dollars in silver.
