When talking varieties of these coins they are called VAMs. I believe the acronym, VAM, itself is a combination of the last names of Leroy Van Allen and A George Mallis. It wuld also be easier to sell because there are a lot of people out there that have no idea what they are buying and they depend on the slab label to tell them what it is.
