SF11Dude......Don't feel bad .That's the way you learn about errors,varieties and all that .I didn't know a thing about coins .I also submitted all kinds of crazy stuff and still do sometimes.Most of what I learned about coins was right here on this site.Just stick around and you too will learn a lot from the members on this site.

This is a life long hobby/addiction,so you have plenty of time to learn. Also I am wrong about 20% of the time.

It is not Die Deterioration. It is split plating from too much pressure during the strike.
