Filled two holes in my type set tonight. This one was too cheap to pass up and will likely upgrade it later. Particularly I dislike coins that are marked up in the face, but it was so low that I will probably make a few bucks when I upgrade it. Your thoughts on the grade would be appreciated.

VF25 Nice New Orleans pickup, that's my opinion. I think also some sign of uneven toning(past cleaning?)

Good type set fill.

That's a nice looking dime. The mintmark appears weak in the photo and if it is that way in-hand it might turn off some collectors. Other than that it looks like a solid VF35 and has a shot at XF40 if there's a bit of luster there.

Gotta admit, that face on this liberty is the scariest I have ever seen. Thanks for the input.

I agree with EF-40 camp. The face is a little witchy but on a dime, those are very tiny blemishes.

I paid $74 for this one. Retail is $125. I like it at the price I paid.

Another 1857-O Seated dime in a PCGS holder graded XF40 sold on the same evening on another auction site for $84. Go figure.
