So, any guess what this is? The weight is 6g and it is non magnetic. There is absoluely no hint of any type of image on either side. The pics are of both sides!

Wow, the edge appears plain, and looks about 30 mm wide. Do you have a weight?

It is a blank token planchet since most makers make hundreds of types uses, And most have the edging on them it would mke sense that it is put on all the blanks. One just slipped through the minting process. Could be an arcade token car wash laundry, batting cage etc. It appears to be a standard brass alloy and common size.

Fuzzy, he said it was 6 grams.
Could you give us a picture of the rim?

It's a token planchet. Common size and weight. No value but if you like it there's no reason not to keep it.

Yeah, like the title suggested, this may just end up in a 2x2 in my "interesting but not at all valuable" album! Do you know where I could find a resource of known tokens that I may be able to narrow down what this token should have been? Maybe that's an impossible task, but I don't have anything better to do right this minute! Lol.

You can try the "Standard Catalog of United States Tokens" by Rulau. It's a pretty good resource of token information.

Probably some company ordered tokens for their machines, but the plain ones were cheaper so they decided to save money.

These are so terribly common and used by so many merchants for so many purposes in so many places it is impossible to offer you any real trail to follow.

http://tokencatalog.com/ is a free website for images and basic stats on tokens while it isn't complete (I doubt it ever could be) if a token has info on one or both sides you might find a match. -MV
