I have no idea what coin this is,it is large,3 inches or so,it can't be really old as this seal was not used in 1860,other than that I'm stumped whether it is a 30 dollar coin or rarer ? It's well struck, maybe a white house gift shop item ?

no markings on the edge?

Could be part of a series of Presidential medals that was struck and sold by a private mint, age wise I'd estimate it from the 1960s or newer.

I don't recognize a maker from these images as there are/were several companies that have produced these over the years.

Price wise I wouldn't spend more than $10-15

I think items like that are for sale at every shop in Springfield, Illinois -- the Land of Lincoln.

I am not sure what it is, but I do like how it looks. I agree, the sticker needs to go. You should be able to use acetone to remove any sticky residue. Do not rub or scrape it.

Welcome to the CCF, Tanker ....

That's a very appealing, high relief, bronze medal. I agree that it's a relatively modern piece; one that I don't recall seeing before. I'm far more familiar with 19th century Lincolniana. Many Lincoln medals were struck in 1959 and shortly thereafter; this, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of his birth. Possibly, this is from that era?

I, too, would encourage the gentle removal of that sticker, asap. The longer it resides on your medal, the more likely it is that surface discoloration will occur. Following its removal, a gental acetone swab around that area would be a good thing. Do not use nail polish remover or other chemical cleaners.
