I know that they are sometimes very tough to find, but I didn't realize that there are individuals out there that are really willing to jack the price up on a lower grade one.

Maybe someone just needed on to complete their set and didn't really care what they spent?

I was guilty of doing that... Over the course of a year I'd bid on no less than 12 1903S dime auctions, and was sniped at the end every time.

I became so frustrated that I ended up putting in a max bid of $90 for what was at most a $60 coin... and then the auction ended without anyone bidding after me...$35...
