I'm out of my element on this one, but I believe it is a Hammered English Silver Penny. I have no idea where to start with it, and would like your help! Anyone recognize it? It has a diameter of about 20mm.

And this one, I have absolutely no idea. It's about 13mm in diameter. I also apologize as I'm sure the photos aren't orientated correctly.

@ec222, I believe that your second coin is a Polish Denar minted 1492 to 1501 AD. Is it about 13 mm in diameter? If I am right, then both pics should be rotated 180° or so to be right-side up. The obv (your second pic) shows a crown and the rev (your first pic) shows a eagle with outstretched wings. On your piece, this may be doubled, which is quite interesting. My suggestion is to split your thread into separate pieces so that you can keep the British coin here and move your other coin over to the ancients and medieval section of CCF. Someone there may be able to provide confirmation of my attribution or an alternate suggestion.

I think you're spot on with the second coin! Thank you! Now I can see the eagle and the crown.

I guess the first coin will go into my melt pile until I can find some information about it!
