Below I have a Wheat cent with an unreadable date and a Lamination Crack?

Cent weighs 1.7 Grams

Would love an explanation as to how this cent came about...

It could be a Dryer Coin, although those often have widened rims. How about acid:

Looks like some kind of heat damage to me. Not sure about the line on the obverse, but I don't think it's worth keeping even if it was at one time a lamination error. I'm guessing the date is 1915 or something else 191-.
