I found this in a roll of pennies today and noticed "In God" looks odd, worth anything?

That's very crazy looking...and a little gooey.
Can you post full pics of both sides?

Can you post a picture of the whole coin? Is IN GOD raised or incuse? If incuse, it's consistent with two coins being glued together, then one being removed to leave that imprint.

to the forum! Cents like this one are commonly found in cup holders or consoles of dirty cars and trucks. Sometimes it is thick coffee & dirt build up sticking two coins together, then when they fall a part, it leaves an impression of the coin that fell away in the gunk that was left behind. Wash it off and it should still be worth one cent.

That's what it was; the bronze metal color made it look odd. Thanks for your help!!

Yep, I think the official, scientific term for that is... "crud", "gunk" (as cwb mentioned) or "schmutz".
