I got to bring home my envelope today...it was rather fat Still waiting on one coin, I think his wife said no Stay tuned for that one.

It has been interesting working at the shop but watching people snatch up all the coins while I don't have time to look at them really makes ya crazy ! After closing today I did take a look around the few Morgan's left , and surprisingly enough there were a few keepers - including these two coins.

I noticed the dates right away as having something up inside the 8's and the 2, and then the extra metal in the Mint Marks, so I figured they were worth a better look. When I got home and got to looking into them further - Yea..I look at coins for 8 hours...then come home to mine until I slump over in my chair.

I found that they were two of the exact same coin with the exact same features, and therefore the same VAM number. What are the odds , out of like 12 coins in that box, there would be two like this ? If they were from a roll maybe, but these are not even the same grade (separated at birth ?)...I thought that was interesting too. This is not a Top 100 VAM , but it has an R-5 and is described as possibly being more scarce than that. Good enough for me but then how did I get two ?!?! The close -ups are from one coin , regular shots are of two different coins that are the same...that does not sound right.....VAM away !
