Hello all
I collect Franklin halves, Morgan and Peace dollars. I starting looking into VAM errors about 6 months ago and just recently found this interesting Franklin. I am not sure where to find information about clashed Franklin halves so am hoping some here can help me out. I was suprised to find scribbling scratches and die clashes on the Franklin. The biggest die clash is some lettering behind the hair. The LIB of LIBERTY also looks doubled and a possible clash at the eye. The reverse appears to have some profile/hair clashing.
If anyone else collects Franklins can you guide me in a direction where I can find out more?
Here is a picture of the clashed lettering behind the hair

The most well known Franklin clash is the 1955 "Bugs Bunny" so named because the eaglet's wings clashed right on Ben's lip giving him buck teeth. Other years are also known to have this feature but 1955 is the most prevalent. Die clashes are not something that is usually cataloged unless you are dealing with VAMs so I am not sure of any reference. It is quite interesting that you have an EPU clash behind the head, of course it looks like most of it was polished off the die leaving the bit of detail by the hair. I have not seen any Franklin clashes other than the Bugs. Could you post a pic of the whole coin?

Here is the coin
It is MS65fbl and I was concerned about some marks on the coin and took a closer look. That is when I noticed the similar clashing, doubling, die chips, scribbling scratches that would identify a M/P VAM. Now my curiousity is to whether these attributes can classify this coin somehow?
