This "Market Acceptable" practice is not really acceptable and every coin should be graded accurately, NO exceptions.
IF an AT coin is truly market acceptable then grading an AT coin as being artificially toned on the slab shouldn't affect the sale.
We all know that this is Not the case and this market acceptable grading is just another indication that the grading standards are falling.
A
TPG's Function is to grade, attribute and authenticate a coin, That is what you pay them for.
They have NO business deciding what is and what isn't market acceptable, That is for the market to decide.
