So here is the deal, I know a person that will sell this entire collection to me for just over $1000 (around 1070). I will SURELY see it in person first, but am wondering if it is a good deal or not? PLEASE dont get mad at me for this long list.

If these coin's are actually graded and slabbed, and not just his opinion, this is a slammin deal, I would buy them!

Even if there not graded, but you get a good feeling that there close, it's an okay deal. it's a couple hundred face value, not including the silvers

Kennedy halfs are NOT my area...
but I read your last post about the 70D where you said
the coins in queston were PCGS slabbed.

So I imagine that any Kennedy gurus that want to answer
your question here would certainly want to know if
any/or all of these coins are PCGS.
If the grades you list are made by a respected 3rd party,
like PCGS (slabs), that will make a huge difference
in value than if grades are just being thrown around
willy-nilly.

Just a heads up.
If I were able to answer your question, I would want to know.

okay. I will contact this guy and see if we can take the majority of the coins to get graded. I saw a couple of areas in my town that the PCGS sites recommends. Does anyone know what the cost is?

Personally, I would get them all, but that's up to. Depends on what you want, and how much you want to spend.

Well, then go ahead and knock every one of them down a grade. Every person's grade is subjective and if the coin was yours he would grade it completely different. Harsh I know but it is always okay to be cynical when it comes to your money. And keep in mind that if you do intend to have them slabbed you are looking at a huge cost there along with the chance of getting a few body bags back. Either way, you have a bunch of slabbed Kennedys and Ikes.
Just decide if you like them and buy them for that reason. You don't need a piece of plastice to appreciate your coin. I keep trying to tell my son this, but he doesn't get it.

If thats the case, then there probably close, but most likely overgraded.

You can always try to sell them here. I'd bet someone here would want them.

ANACS will grade most of the Kennedys (moderns) for $10 each and you won't get the body bags like you are guaranteed to get from PCGS. But yeah it is expensive to slab coins and usually not worht it.
