Today has been a good day roll hunting. I found 58,59,60,61,63,5-64 nickels, and this gem! Thanks for looking and all advice is appreciated! BTW for being 50 years in circulation I think it's in fair condition!

Thanks, But I seriously doubt it. it really doesn't picture well but looking at it with the naked eye( which mine are not that great anymore)you can see the back of the head hairline!

Thanks all, On the eagle reverse quarters, I always look for the crescent moon on the right wing! That and just above the leaves under the left wing for the eye bulge!

Nice one! At first I thought you were talking about the line on the left wing, which I couldn't match up with a front design feature. Then I noticed the hair on the right wing. The overlap pic is super useful.

The areas that maybe affected by a clash are the outlines of the central devices. IE The Neck would be seen from the beak to the wing. There is a faint line there, but other areas where the back of the neck would be see on the wing would probably not be seen as the wing on the reverse is incuse. But the area with the arrow at 2:00 might be seen if the wing was shallow. The deeper parts of the reverse would not leave a mark. But most of the arrows are pretty much correct because they show the shadow of the outline on the shallow devices.
