I bought it at my local coin shop - they had it graded Fine for $3.00 ... but it was in the half-price basket, so I figured $1.50 was a good price. Quote: A "Woodie"... Right on. San Fran was under pressure to produce a lot of coins in the 20's and Philly was supplying all the working dies....but Philly couldn't keep up with the demand so they often used the dies until they broke.
