Agree VF-20 weak reverse, but probably not worth more than low Fine money.

That's what I was thinking too, i.e., VF-20 obverse, but the reverse brings it down some.

I bought it at my local coin shop - they had it graded Fine for $3.00 ... but it was in the half-price basket, so I figured $1.50 was a good price.

Cheek and jaw separation, technical VF-20. Very late reverse die state. San Fran was under pressure to produce a lot of coins in the 20's and Philly was supplying all the working dies....but Philly couldn't keep up with the demand so they often used the dies until they broke.
