It doesn't seem like a bad deal if it sells for the starting bid or close. Less than $10 a set and several silver sets included. Great feedback. What do you think?

Maybe some have dealt with this seller before.

If I collected proof sets and needed a bunch, I would be tempted to go for this.

Not so good if you only needed a few, as you would be stuck with a lot of un-needed sets.

If proof sets are your thing, then I would say go for it as long as your planning on keeping them . but if your looking for a quick turnaround ,don't bother .

I would be a bit leery of buying.
If you find a few that have problems what do you do?

You could buy them, keep the ones you like, sell some, and give
others as gifts to youngsters or relatives.

From a quick look, it seems to me the seller has another listing for the exact same group of proof sets:
332097505417

This one is a BIN for $899 or make offer.

I also note that both listings use a photo with the old ebay picture logo in the lower right corner. This means, I think, that the photo was copied from an ebay listing at some time in the past. It may mean nothing, but I think it is odd. It might mean they have tried to sell this set before, or it could have come from a listing where they BOUGHT it long ago.

The seller has been registered since 1998, has almost 31,000 positive feedback rating with no non-positive in the last year. Toolhaus, however, reveals that they have received quite a few bad feedback in the past for various issues related to coin sales, noticeably proof sets.

I had not heard of Toolhaus before. Thank you nss-52 as it looks like a very helpful ebay research tool!

If you took these sets, as they are, to a show and asked for price offers from dealers for the lot, I sincerely doubt you'd be able to get an offer over $350, at the top end.

There are FAR more of these for sale than their are buyers for them. Thank all the collectors in the past that ordered 5, or 10, or 20 of each year, every year.
