I'm having trouble grading this Silver dollar, any suggestions on its grade or value?

I'd say XF-40 and looks to have been dipped. The surface luster looks way off.

It was standard procedure to dip most early dollars back in the 70's and 80's and then place them in a protected 2x2.

I basically have only one 35 dollar that was not dipped.

If the toning wasn't perfect,..it got dipped. All of the bright ones out there have been dipped,.. but the trick is "in and out" very quickly.. and all is perfect.
