I'm thinking EF-40. What grade would you assign?

(I'm still working on getting a better focus for my coin photos...)

Thanks!

Mark

vf-30 (want more cheek detail/separation for xf-40) - nice eye appeal - looks like it has been cleaned esp. the reverse

This coin is not close to EF and would need to stretch to make VF. I would say F15 or so.

It might squeeze in to VF-20, but only barely. It's a long ways from an EF cent. It does look attractive without any major problems, although I suspect it may have had an old cleaning that has retoned evenly.

Thanks y'all!

Your feedback is very helpful as it helps me identify where I am misinterpreting (or not applying correctly) grading criteria. Invaluable!

What are the characteristics that make it looked cleaned?

Much appreciated,

Mark

VF25 in my opinion. If the hair had more details, VF30.

obverse is VF25 reverse F15. it may net VF20 but I have it F15 also. reverse color is all washed out and dull indicating a cleaning. compare the obverse surfaces to the reverse and it sticks out like a sore thumb

I'm at VF-20 looking at the stalks - no higher. Still very attractive.

It looks like it could make VF-25.

Every time I see a 1910 cent I always wonder why the 0 is so much larger than the other numbers. The 0 in the 1920 does not look like that.

VF 20, maybe a VF 25 on a good day.
