When inserting a smilie, it puts it at the current location of the pointer/cursor.
But if I want to insert, say, three of the same smilie in a row, it puts the first one at the current location of the pointer/cursor, but puts the rest at the END of the post.
Is this intentional?

I have this text. ABC ABC I want three of the same smiley between the text to look like this. ABC ABC I put the insertion point between the text, and click. I then click three times on the same smiley from the list to the left, but this is what it gives me. ABC ABC

ABC XYZ Is this what you want ? When I click the smiley list, it moves the insertion point in the 'reply text' to the end. To get these in between ABC and XYZ, I cut and pasted the codes between ABC and XYZ.

That's my whole point, the unnecessary need to cut and paste.
Why does it insert one smiley, then move the insertion point to the end?
It should stay where it is (in my opinion), so that additional typing or smileys can be added.

I see your point but I suspect that's the way your browser behaves and it's nothing to do with CCF.

It does the same thing to me as well. Kind of annoying, but I have memorized my favorite one:

There's just a bit of unnecessary code that moves the cursor (insertion point) to the end after inserting a smiley.
I do not understand why it does that in the first place.

It's a good point, my browser doesn't necessarily work the way nss-52's browser work. However, I got the same effect in Firefox, Chrome and Edge.

Now you have me curious. Type: AB Put the pointer exactly between the A and the B Click a smiley three times. Do they all appear after the AB? AB Or do you get A B
