But what is the secret here? Low mintage, doubtful painted design, egg-shape or Ukrainian culture in trend now? Looking at this, I do not see here the "mass-appeal" factor. Well, its only imo.

^ I don't think people that naive to think it will do as well as the first but most think it will do better than other RCM releases.

But this statement valid for the sellers, that's why on ebay already 34 listings, everyone trying their luck. But what motivates the buyers to buy this coin with the premium?

Some interesting info from the other forum: one of the sellers, already have sold 40+ Pysanka coins, while he/she still has 20 left - in hand.Probably only Mint employee can have such access and availability. Well...atleast he takes care of the other people by re-selling these coins, and doesn't hoard them for himself

He/she making about $65 on each coin average. Shows at 50 sold so over $3,000 profit - shipping costs If they're a mint employee they'll finally catch them with their pants down. lol (our gold dude) lol

What impressive, that this is "profit in couple of clicks". And the amount like average monthly salary. I think he / she just used the quota for mint employee and maybe quota of some colleagues-friend to get such amount of coins.

Nice score Yingyang!
I do not see numismatic appeal or significance, but when I think about money could be made, I think : "not bad coin"

Congrats!
Yeah..small POs, these which usually not overrunning by people, sometimes have their allocation, and the coin just "sits" there, hidden, unless knowledgeable customer will pay attention. Years ago this way I found "Two Loons" and "Glass Bumblebee" exactly the period, when they were "hard to find".

Bromberg had 400 of these for sale on TSC. That's 8 % of the total mintage.

Part for sure went to the European dealers - in Italy, Germany, Poland. Anyway, who didn't get enough coins - try to search in close PO's...looks like the effort worth it - the coins just wait on the display. Added: Thanks for other site members: The colonial Acres got another batch of 2017 Pysanka coins and sells for CAD 175 each one only (no tax for ONT). Grab them here (couple of clicks - remember?) , cause this price we will not see again... https://www.colonialacres.com/product-p/158380.htm

I hope this sells for 500 bucks but in a few weeks how can this coin be worth more than issue, with the mintage being increased and the second coin with flippers loading up.
