Hello again. Was searching through some rolls and came across this 1991 cent. Was going to cast it back into the spend pile as a PMDD (see pics of reverse on lower legend and bottom left on memorial.) when I noticed something strange about the edge of the coin. There is a "lip" hanging over the struck rim on the obverse side. I've searched Google but couldn't find anything that matched it(the closest is Machine Doubling, but it still doesn't look quite right...and it). Any thoughts? Neat enough to keep or release back into the wild?
That's exACTly the one, Coop. Thanks. That "lip" is precisely what is on my coin. Gonna have to get a dictionary of error terms to help in my identification.
