Hi everyone, I inherited some silver coins and have discovered that some of them are of uncirculated quality. Most of it is Canadian. My goal is to learn as much as possible about these coins (mostly dollars and dimes) and determine their value and eventually I'd like to sell some of them. I also plan to keep some. I am a novice but have been enjoying learning.
to the Coin Community, Lina. What luck, inheriting a coin collection. We have several forums (fora?) dedicated to Canadian coins and several dollar experts.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I have been busy organizing my coins and stapling them in the U-DO-IT cardboard sleeves with windows. Some of them had been sitting in small plastic tubes for decades so this seemed like a good first step. Next I plan to take pictures of the ones that seem to have the most promise in value or that are the most interesting to me (for example I found one that appears to have a very noticeable strike error). I just need a good camera. Anyway, thanks again.
