Druu Pillar of the Community United States 1000 Posts	Posted 02/12/2017 11:37 pm I barely even see the MD, just a bit on the date -- are you guys seeing it elsewhere? Not to be pedantic, but Machine Doubling differs from Die Deterioration Doubling. MD occurs when the planchet shifts slightly during the strike, while Die Deterioration creates a faint doubled image on all coins struck with the deteriorated die. Report this Post to the Staff
