try to use the CCF Free Image Optimizer to reduce the blank space around the coin. I think I see something at the mintmark, but its probably a zinc bubble. A closer image and comment on what you are seeing would help

I see something up near the edge above God. And what looks to be another mint mark on the front of his shirt.

 Wendell Look like a die chip, another seems to be on the rim under Brenner's initials also...some call the Cuds, really aren't large enough.

I'm guessing it's a occluded zinc gas bubble under the copper.

 to CCF. Looks like it is all a plating issue. Trapped gas bubbles under the copper plating. Could also be trapped debris under the plating,very common on the plated Lincoln cents. It is a spender. John1
