I have been collecting and saving coins I found in my pocket for years. I have recently been learning about and searching for errors. I found this today, it does not match up to any particular error I can find online. Has anyone seen this before. Missing rim, smaller than it should be, missing edges of some letters. The photos with two pennies show how much smaller this one is than the a regular penny.

Try comparing its size to a dime, cause I suspect someone ground it down to fit in a roll of dimes to cheat someone.

very similar to size of dime, its nearly perfectly round though, seems like a lot of work to cheat someone for 9 cents, but that does make some sense.

to the forum!

That looks nicely done if it's an altered coin, which it most likely is.

How much does it weigh and can you get some clearer images, maybe one of the edge too?
