I'm no expect, so I will defer to others that know better than me, but it seems illogical counterfeiters would do a 1895 IHC. Also, why would it be in circulation? I had the understanding that the counterfeit Indian cents had indistinct diamond pattern and muddy "LIBERTY".
Great you can still find stuff like this! minimal wear although lighting makes hard. I'd say AU detail but damaged rims and shield. Probably cleaned/polished
