okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5589 Posts	Posted 02/21/2017 3:32 pm Since the 1919 was mentioned in the thread on the 1895, I thought that I would show you folks a nice example of Machine Doubling. I found this coin at least 10 years ago and have never found one that incorporated as many letters and, at the same time, had a Griffin R-8 D/P 9 as well. I have found many that just have the first letter or two of Cent and Canada offset, but no more like this. I have looked at thousands & thousands of 1919's and never found another. These were taken with an old QX Digital Blue micro. The 2nd "C" is the C in Cent and it continued on into the E & N but not as dramatic.
