Since it seems to be Shield nickel week I will post another. 1883 shield; the luster is much more like luster in hand the lighting in this pictures is not the greatest. grade and thoughts please.

Only a slight bit of wear, and the luster looks decent; I would say full AU55 with a shot at AU58 depending on how luster of the fields is in-hand. Very nice Shield.

Obverse surface looks a little weird and looks almost polished.  I don't see an original surface. Kind of shiny for a nickel. Reverse looks better, but not booming with luster.

the lighting used is reflecting off the surfaces and imitating some luster. after blowing the pics up the coin may have had a dip but it was light and I dont think would warrant a details designation
