Saw the new CoinWorld today at the shop. Apparently 4 (so far) Jefferson dollar proofs were discovered to have the edge lettering in the wrong order. Instead of the edge reading.....In God We Trust 2007 S E Pluribus Unum , it reads In God We Trust E Pluribus Unum 2007 S. Since the edge dies for the dollars are segmented into three segments...I guess somebody messed up ! Happy searching ! Good luck to all !

Both of mine are normal as well. The edge lettering is so small it took a little while to finally see it...

Tough to see that lettering on these....I have about 100 sets to look at tomorrow at the shop (that's just the pres. sets, not the whole sets...you can't give the four coin sets away...yet !) . I myself have five clad and 4 silver sets...my eyes hurt...he he...I am too busy posting here to look right now ! There are no estimates on how many there are...so the first ones should get big money ! I better get looking.

Sigh..none for me either. I'll let everyone know if I find any at the shop.

Question...
When buying Silver Proof sets, are the President's
also in silver? or just the 5c, 10c, 25c, & ½'s
This has been confusing me.

Mila,
the only silver in the silver proof sets are the original 90% silver coins- dime, quarters, and half dollar. It was originally proposed in 2006 to mint the Pres proofs in silver for the set but it was never approved.

If I have any like that.......it'll be awhile before I look to find out.....Don't want to make a special trip to the other side of town and get in the bank vault for that......
Any idea on the number that got released like that ?........Not sure if I feel lucky that it'd be me to have one anyway......that's always someone else who finds an error coin!...
I know...I know.....you can't win if you don't play.....err...wait...that's the lottery.......Oh!!....same thing here though!...
