Attractive and I think it could make xf-40. On value check PCGS to see what it's been going for at auctions.

After seeing the scratches in the reverse field, I started running away in my mind. I would need a steep discount, say 80%, to want this coin. Not my cup of tea. Capped bust halves are plentiful. I would choose another.

This coin is no doubt genuine, but it does not look right. The surfaces have the appearance of being cleaned (especially the obverse), but they don't at the same time. The reverse looks very baggy for some reason. I'd pass, but I would not say I'd need an 80% discount to buy it. Maybe just 25%.

Below is the grade. Is $140 a fair price for the coin? Not looking to break the bank and it is for my type set.

Personally, I like the coin. And I think you did fine on the price. I find the coin attractive.

use the back and forth arrows to zero in on the grade. Scroll down to auction history. Add up the total amount paid and divide by the number of coins. I think you will find that $140 is spot on.
