I really like the patina on this one. Looks like an original VF35/XF40.
What do you think?

Very attractive coin. I think it doesn't make XF because both talons are worn flat. Tons of eye appeal though. It would be nice if you could scoop it up for VF money but if I were the seller, I would hold out for XF $.

I think this is a coin where I wouldn't shed a lot of tears paying XF40 $. I only see a small mark to the left of the date and the color and tone are pleasingly uniform. Definitely PQ for the grade.

Very attractive VF-30. Minor obverse rim issue shouldn't be a problem.

Man that thing is such a solid VF. Because of the overall look, it might command XF money if you were to sell it one day. Bust/federal coinage is hot right now.

Cabbed bust huh?. Is that because the hat looks like a head of cabbage or is it the dress?

Very nice details on that lady!

If you can get this coin for VF money, don't hesitate, buy it. It's very attractive and very original and a great example of what these should look like when they haven't been monkeyed around with.
