Just curious what is on this coin. Looks like a pretty big bright line on the front as well as some bright spots on the back. Is this some kind of toning or maybe a sign of cleaning in the past? The slab shows a straight grade. These are stock photos since I don't own the coin.

Gold can come in different shades of orange yellow and red due to the alloys. Since gold doesn't tarnish that's what my thought is.

I don't know what this is, but it is an unattractive film that forms on some gold coins. I avoid it on slabbed coins.

Post a new pic when you get the coin in hand.

It might be bad lighting?

Looks like a putty job that has gone bad, but I wouldn't expect to see that in a recent style holder.

Straight grade perhaps, but certainly lacks appeal.

I can't post any other pictures because I didn't buy the coin. Gold is too rich for my blood but I find it interesting and wanted to learn more about it. I saw a picture of it and was curious what those bright lines were. I agree, it lacks eye appeal.
