the date looks recessed, so that would mean someone punched/counter-stamped that date, PMD  |

You are trying to pull my leg aren't you?  That's a stamped date on a dateles buffalo! Congrats on a buff find, but that ain't special, just a modified, damaged coin! |

There would be no album holes for Buffalo nickels, dated 1912 or 1939. Now, Dan Carr might make those dates, but his would look infinitely better! Edited by ExoGuy
