Just browsing the bay and came across this.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-BABE-R...AOSwnHZYmVfr

Not sure what to make of this. On the one hand it is the oddest thing I have seen him sign but on the other hand it hurts to see a silver cert cut up even if it is common.

That's neat. But not 100,000 dollars neat.

I wonder whether the silver certificate is folded or cut.
Rest in Peace

Sure the SC is a real one, made in 2016, is it even authentic souvenir? Doubt it for that...price!

That is truly a great piece of memorabilia. $100k worth? Not to me and I honestly can't see anyone paying that money for it.

As to the condition, the card companies (Panini in this case) typically just cut the patches of materials they use to fit the card, so I'm sure the rest of the silver certificate is long gone. Too bad. I'd rather have it complete than carved up and framed in a little piece of cardboard.

It also makes me unhappy that they sliced up a Babe Ruth jersey for this.

aristarchus123 It is cut. It is called a cut signature. The companies buy up dead players signatures from the secondary market and cut the signature to put in the card. The most common thing to cut to get a signature is checks.

Crazyb0 I am not sure if you are being serious or not. But it is a real SC that was printed while he was alive. The card was made in 2016 not the dollar bill and yes it is a authentic souvenir.
