New To Collecting, I Came Across This 20$ With A Pattern Type Serial Number

Sabrina Cardenas New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/09/2017 3:06 pm Hello everyone I am from Arizona and new to collecting. And still have so much to learn, my son husband and I like to hunt for special coins and bills in everyday transactions. And then at the end of the week show what we find.I normally only come across neat coins. Untill the other day I was getting cash back and was given this 20$ from 2003 series. I thought it was interesting but not sure if it's worth putting in a collectors sleeve. Or just using it to fill my gas tank for the week. Any input would be greatly appreciated. SteveInTampa Pillar of the Community United States 4637 Posts	Posted 03/09/2017 4:05 pm Welcome to CCF Sabrina. Like nfine stated, the pattern is called a repeater. If you look close you will see it is a series 2013, not 2003. In uncirculated condition it might have a $10 to $20 premium above face. If you like it, keep it. Report this Post to the Staff
