I just went to B of Am yesterday and sak my teller if the had any Ike dollars and got 12 and 1 has a "D" steel stamped. 1978D common looked worn on reverse of D it was a pocket piece  The banks don't get many here. Any one want a D initialed Ike?  |

I will try to get a picture. I need a better camera. Any good ideas? Its right in front of Ikes nose I hate to see someone deface a old coin on purpose. I have several with holes drilled, a nice 1888 V nickel with 1/4 inch hole  |

It's sad .. I know.  But I admit but I finally get JBucks avatar seeing this thread. I thought it was a huge Cud or something before reading this. Very clever. |

There should be two D's: one for Dwight, and one for David.

There's enough room on it to stamp out the R you U. Too bad I don't have anything to counter stamp with! Does it have a new home yet, or are you sending him back to the bank?
