so I have played with the idea of sending my stuff to ICCS for a couple years now, but always put it on the back burner and told myself to wait til I had a good amount to send. well the time finally came..next week a submission of over 100 coins will be off to ICCS, with about 65 coins in my name. 65 coins may not sound like a lot, but these coins are a fairly sized part of my collection.
Although I can't list off ALLLL the coins in the submission right now, i'll be excited to share the results and pictures with this lovely numismatic family once they come..it's fun to put everyone else in suspense instead of just me

, plus I love sharing with all the great members and I think it will be fun to share my first large submission with the family here.
to make things a little bit interesting, i'll let those who wish, to guess what some of the coins are in the submission and how they'll grade..simply cause why not, right? lol
as mentioned above, the submission is 100+ coins but I only have 65 or so in it..that's because to make it cost effective for both of us, I have submitted with a good friend and member, who can identify himself if he chooses to do so

(there's a discount in grading fees for 100+ coins)
some of the main coins in the submission, which I am excited to see the results on, are:
a 1913 $5 gold coin from the Bank of Canada hoard in, I have my fingers crossed that it gets MS-63, which is a grade i'd agree with.

http://goccf.com/t/252274a 1888 Newfoundland $2 gold piece, I have it at AU-58 due to the slightest high point ware, although I think ICCS may give it MS-60, due to it's unusually high quality clean fields and luster for an AU grade.

http://goccf.com/t/260935also in the submission are some lowball dollars, a 1949 dollar which I believe will get SP, and some 1967 UHC coins and a 1965 half dollar which I think will easily get MS-66.
a 1953 NSF dollar, this coin allegedly came from a "PL" mint cardboard set, but I got it in a case with the rest of the coins, sadly the holes were a bit loose and the coins made contact a few times..nothing too noticeable, but because of that contact I think the coin will grade SP-63..i have been split for a long time on whether it is a specimen or not, but after comparing with another 1953 SP dollar, I am somewhat confident it will grade SP. also, this coin has an unbelievable strike for a NSF.

thanks for taking part in the suspense and I'm happy to share with y'all
