The Byron Reed collection is on display here in Omaha, which includes the Parmalee-Reed specimen of the 1804 silver dollar, which ive seen too many times to remember!

I saw some exclusive American coins when I visited the Smithsonian last time.  Furthermore, there's a lot of interesting non-American coinage I've seen. Shanghai has an amazing numismatic exhibition in the Shanghai Museum, for example. It'll blow your mind away, literally tens of thousands of coins, a lot of them extremely rare and even unique. I've seen and even held some very rare Norwegian and Dutch coins, too. |

I have heard it said that the other guy did not pay. Of course what I hear is second hand. In the Pensacola area shops it is always said that Larry Lee has and owns the nickel. |

Seen all three and multiple variety types of the 1804.
Also saw two years ago Colonel Green's purchasing ledger and the entry for the purchase of a 1913 Nickel. Who? Kolb & Fanning lot viewing - NYITL.
Colonel Green at one time owned all of them? I believe so? ... but only saw (1) 1913 Nickel entry.

I've seen all three, at least two of the 1913's three of the 1804's, but I think only one of the 1894-S dimes. Quote:
a real treat for me would be The Coin, I've seen that too. The 1822 half eagle, the 1870-S three dollar, and 70-S silver dollar. The 1873-CC no arrows dime and quarter, 1853-O no arrows and rays half dollar. On thing that really impressed me that I've seen was the complete set of Constellatio unit patterns. Edited by Conder101

I saw the Class I, II, and III 1804 Dollars during my trip to the Smithsonian. I also saw their 1933 Double Eagle.

This thread is a good example of what I love about this site; the wealth of experience and knowledge about the hobby and collections that are beyond what I ever hope to attain. I may be a small time collector but I'm in really good company.

I saw the 1913 Nickel in the 2004 ANA show in Portland, Or. There were others but I don't recall which. There was also a display of the $100,000 notes. |

Back in 1970 at the ANA St. Louis convention, I was assisting a well known collector setting up a display of rare coins. I handled an 1804 dollar, and a 1894-S dime. The display had a 1913 nickel, but I didn't get a chance to handle it. The display had other coins, but those were the best. |
