I'm speaking of the 1913 Liberty Head nickel, the 1894-S Barber dime, and the 1804 silver dollar. Knowing that's unlikely that any of us here own one (or more) of these coins, have you ever had the occasion to see one of them in person?

I've seen two of them: the 1804 $ and the 1913 Nickel.

I saw the 1913 V nickel at a coin show in Houston many moons ago. IMO, just a novelty coin.

I saw a 1913 at the Money Museum in Colorado Springs last summer.

I know it's not one of the ones that you listed, but I got to see the Smithsonian's 1933 Saint-Gaudens and 1849 Liberty Head double eagles a few years ago.

No, but I have not only seen but actually own a CWT that is rarer than the 1804 dollar and about as rare as the 1894-S dime.

I have seen the 1804 Dollar and the 1913 Liberty nickel many times. They were both at this year's Winter ANA convention in Orlando. I have never gone out of my way to see the 1894-S Dime. I don't find it exciting.

Well, those coins are just as remarkable, or even more, than the ones listed. If fact, the ones he listed, I wouldn't really call the big 3.

One of the owners of a 1913 nickel lives about 100 miles from me. A good friend of mine knows him and has seen it.
I have thought about making the trip to maybe get a look at it, but my friend tells me he has a good fake one he shows people he does not know very well.
I think in the near future I might start going to some of the bigger shows. It would be nice to see some of the big dollar coins.

I have seen all five of the 1913 Liberty nickels, 3 or four 1804 Dollars (and the entire King of Siam 1834 proof set), the Contoursi 1794 Dollar, the 1933 double eagle, the 1907 PF-69 Ultra High Relief $20, the Brasher doubloon, and many other six/seven-figure rarities. I have even held some of them.

I'm sure I could have purchased one each of those at a flea market not long ago. However the seller sort of vanished a few weeks later.

I wouldn't mind seeing any of those, but a real treat for me would be The Coin, that one particular Chain Cent -- some of you know to which one I refer -- now that would be special.

I know Larry Lee is one of those owners. I have purchased some coins from his store in Panama City. I have a difficult time comprehending a nickel worth 3 million.
