If you found it CRH (coin roll hunting) good job! I've yet to find a BU wheat.

Judging by the small amount of wear and coloring around the edges of the devices, it looks like it's been cleaned and polished. But that's just from what I can see from the photo. Still a cool find though if you found it out in the wild.

Better pics would help, but I agree with KCCO that this coin looks polished. If so, then someone has removed most of the coin's numismatic value.

See others have said the same thoughts I had, better/closer/cropped pix needed, does look sorta polished,generally wouldn't be so brite with that amount of wear. Agree is neat find if wild and raw!

Some of those polished ones are real pretty....just not worth a hoot.

Unfortunately, that is only a heavily polished coin that is worth very little.

Shiny is not always a good thing where coins are concerned. It was worth more before it was cleaned.

It's still worth double face value through!

PSD polishing. Ruined the value to a collector for this coin. While it may look neat to some, to a collector it is just a damaged Wheat cent.
