Hey guys I am looking for some info on this note. I am not really a note collector and do not know much about american currency so, is this considered a low serial? Is it in good condition? Thanks all I can find is that they are rare but not necessarily worth a lot.

I wouldn't term them "rare" or even "scarce" - the 1976's may be slightly less common than later series, but I can still obtain them regularly at my local bank at face value, often in crisp uncirculated condition, which one would have to be in to command any premium whatsoever.

Thanks for the info. Someone at work gave it to my father and he thought I would be interested in it. We haven't seen a two dollar note up north here since 1996, so its nice to see you guys still have them even though it seems none knows you do.

I'm one of the few who actually likes using them, in my case for the novelty of the reactions I get, for as with our $1 coins, they barely circulate. You might be surprised at how often the receipient of one remarks how "rare" they are, but as I said, banks normally have plenty for the asking.
