Nice one ! I rarely look at the bag of dimes at the shop...so very small they are. I know I am going to have to start looking through them. Especially after working there, when I did separate some dimes I was taking all the 42's out for a closer look- but they said they usually don't bother. I know the 42-D overdate is not easy to spot....I just know there is one waiting for me to find in there ! And now this too...I guess with silver high....dimes are cheap ! Is that from a roll ? or did you purchase it as the DDO ? Nice looking coin !

I am not saying one way or the other. What I can say is that unfortunately, I can't see anything that looks like die doubling in these pictures. The lighting and the focus make it pretty tough to pick anything out.

Sorry,

Bill

I can only see what I think is Machine Doubling. IGWT is the clearest area for that.

I am not sure what is meant by doubled eye. On every Roosevelt dime, you see the eye, above that the eye lid and above that the brow line. I don't see anything unusual about the eye.

Thanks,
Bill

All I see is some faint Strike Doubling on the lettering (the 'Y' and the 'B' most noticably. I see nothing that makes me think it is a double die.
