Still combing through our coin collection, but ended up having this from pocket change as it were...
Was something wrong with the die when it was struck? Or could this be just from circulation?

The rounded line you see is incuse. (sunk into the coin) This happens when the coin are wrapped and it damages the end coin when the paper is crimped on the edge of the roll.

It is highly probable this was caused by a coin rolling machine.
